"For everything there is a time..."
In watching the PGA tournamnets over the last year, you can't help notice that the younger players are emerging, one by one, on the leaderboard. Although I'm not a Tiger fan per his personal life, I still like to watch him play, when he's at his best.
Each time Tiger has taken the lead,or been in the mix on a weekend, the commentators argue whether or not he is 'back'. Maybe that will never happen. Maybe Tiger's time is over.
When certain phases of your life comes to an end, it can happen in many different ways. How it takes place is never as important as the fact that it has taken place. It's time for you to move on and it's time for others to step up.
Will Tiger make a comeback or has he accomplished his purpose over the years? Was his purpose to be the best golfer ever or was it to increase interest in the game, increase the size of the galleries and subsequently income of the player, caddies and everyone else associated with the game? We will never know. But isn't it fun to hope on a Saturday night that Tiger will roar on sunday?
