We were also talking about exercise and I told him I was a proponet of being able to exercise at home. When I travel, I seek out the housekeepers (or go hunting down the corridor) and borrow a broom. At home I do part of my stretching exercises using a golf club. A broom handle works almost as well. Let me share one flexibility stretch with you. (There are several in Chapter 4 of my book, "Make Your Golf Club Your Health Club."
Lift the club, parallel to the floor, above your head almost stretching your arms. Place your right foot about 18 inches in front of your body. Turn as far to the right as you can then to the left. With daiily practice you'll notice your arc becomes longer and soon you'll be looking behind you.
Frank, my interveiwer said, " Oh, I get it. A brain and a broom!" Maybe that will be the title of my sequel.
I'm off to volunteer at WilCall for the Open Tournament this week. Unlike other years, we got the rain out on Monday so we're looking for mmid 70s the rest of the week!
