The iSight is filled with nostalga. As reported by John Blumenthal on the new boomer site, HuffingtonPost.com/50, the iSight features apps specifically designed for seniors. For instance, should you forget who a contact is you just ask, "Who is Debbie Wilson? There's an app for that.
The phone will announce, "She's the one you met at a Stones concert in 1968, the one wearing hoop earrings."
The GPS Voice Choices app will talk to you in the voice of Jackie Gleason, Lucille Ball, Fonzie or Johnny Carson. Blumenthal says you can't misplace the iSight because as long as you have the app you can ask, "Where are you?" and the phone will answer.
At $699, Blumenthal suggest you wait for the competitors. Verizon is bringing out a senior smartphone called 'Bland'.
