I have spent years researching anti-aging, longevity and senior health. A great attitude, moderate exercise such as walking, avoiding processed foods whenever possible - these are the keys to aging gracefully and slowly.
One of the heroes in my life is Betsy. She will be celebrating her 88th birthday soon. Her days consist of swimming, walking, chair exercise class, working one on one with a physical therapist. One or two days a week she plays golf at the local executive course. Other than thyroid medication, she doesn't take any.
The proof of Betsy's attitude about aging is what she did yesterday. She went to the local golf shop and bought a brand new pair of Callaway (one of the most expensive brands) golf shoes. Way to go Betsy!
